Whether you want a quick and easy meal or a complete dinner, it contains everything you need, right from appetizers and drinks, cakes n bakes, to capture the flavour of World. I am used to cook in kitchen from the early age of three years, while I grew up with family. I was inspired of content to eat lip smacking stuff made by everybody from grandmother to mom and my aunt. I loved to stand beside them for helping, watching and asking questions, as my grandmother and mom prepared meals. The chopping and churning, boiling and frying going on alongside began to draw me in. And surprisingly, whenever I innovatively tried cooking anything at home, the result was always yummy!!! However cooking was never an everyday task for me till I began to work. When I began working, me and my brother shared an apartment. We use to cook together and then my journey to kitchen started. Exchanging tips with friends, reading recipe books and of course telephonic recipe notes from mom and experience has helped. My early cooking had influences of all. It’s been years since then, cooking has become one of my favourite past times. I am an Indian and I thought that all Indians love to have variety of foods. I am a Pharmacist by profession and running a Poly Clinic in my home town. I started writing the blog as a hobby. My wife, Saima encouraged me a lot and this blog was created. Right now I am working to document my family recipes first and later will move on to add various other regional and international recipes. Saima is a dedicated housewife, In her free time she works on the blogs also. While I work on recipe and photography, Saima works on the technical aspect of the blog, without which the blog would have been incomplete. India is a land of diversities, which is well portrayed in its culture and cuisine. A land where taste changes at every 100 kms. Hence, it has a wide spectrum of food. Here I bring you recipes that can be easily made at home. The recipes are easy to understand and follow as we wrote them briefly for you. All the recipes are in step by step format and are tried and tested in our kitchen. On most days my meals are simple, vegetarian and quick. That’s what I talk about in this space. Hope you enjoy reading them and trying as much as I enjoyed cooking and writing about them. Initial blog photos were taken from Phone. We have already updated few of the older photos with new pictures. Up gradation of photos for older posts is an on-going process.

Food has a special ability to bring people together. I often find this in my own life, and I hope you will find that this online community feels just as welcoming as a real kitchen. For me, cooking together builds the best communities!
Food is the great unifier that connects us across cultures and generations. We have all had those moments when we smelled something that reminded us of our childhood, or recreated a dish that we had abroad that immediately brought us back to that foreign place.
Food can quite literally propel you to another time, another country, another culture without even leaving your dinner table, which is why food culture is such an important way that we as people are able to connect and relate to one another.
Food culture is the connection, beliefs, and experience we have with food and our food system. It incorporates our cultural heritage and ethnicity, but is not limited to it.
Our food culture is as much about our ethnic cultural heritage, as it is about our environmental culture and the way our surrounding impact the foods we eat and the way we experience them.
There are many different food cultures of the world, some more distinctive and globally famous than others, and some which very rarely leave their regional environment but are still just as significant to the local community they influence.
To break it down even further food cultures, no matter where in the world, all encompass a few key components:
The good news is that every single person is capable of creating a strong food culture for themselves, and their family. You don’t need to grow up in an environment with a strong food heritage in order to incorporate some of the building blocks that make up a strong and unwavering food culture. All you need to do is focus on bringing the culture back into food culture.
Now Let us not discuss more and let's get cooking together!

Does anything beyond reheating a frozen entrée or assembling mac ‘n cheese stress you out? You are not alone. Some of us grew up with parents who didn’t show us the ropes in the kitchen, or maybe we just didn’t pay enough attention. And some of us may not have a desire to put too much effort into the daily dinner. Let’s face it, cooking isn’t for everyone.
That’s okay. You don’t have to be Sanjeev Kapoor or Tarla Dalal to feed your family a yummy and nutritious meal in a few minutes. Follow these three easy steps for simple cooking and you’ll feel more confident in the kitchen and deliver a delicious, nutritious meal to your family that everyone, including you, will love. You’ll also start building your confidence with terrific dinner staples that are quick and seamless to make, and will turn out beautifully every time.
Great food doesn’t have to be complicated. In fact, some of the best dishes are the non-fussy kind that let the quality ingredients shine through. Choose straightforward recipes with a handful of ingredients and just a few steps. If it calls for some kind of tricky technique, forget it. Select basic menus:
Buy fresh, whole foods that are good quality. Fruit stands are good, as are farmers’ markets, or just browse the grocery store produce section for what looks appealing. Look for plump, ripe produce that’s ideally in season (right now that means cherries, tomatoes, berries, peaches, zucchini, squash, cabbage, green beans, carrots, apricots, cucumbers, peppers and salad greens). A watery, bland tomato in December can’t compare to a fragrant, juicy, sweet July tomato ripened in the hot sun and just off the vine.
Find 20 recipes you love and are good at making, then rotate throughout the month. Repeat. Double the recipe on Sunday night, and serve that meal again on Tuesday. Easy!
